Azithromycin associated with less treatment failure than beta-lactams in hospitalized COPD patients
In a retrospective cohort study at six Michigan hospitals, treatment failed in 19.6% of patients with an acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) who received azithromycin and 32.3% of those who received a beta-lactam.

Virtual instruction for inhaler technique nearly as effective as in-person instruction, study finds
