Positioning patients sitting up or lying flat doesn't affect stroke outcomes, study finds
The results suggest that any modification of cerebral blood flow that may have occurred as a result of head positioning was insufficient to reduce the neurologic deficit associated with acute stroke, the study authors said.

Benefits of endovascular therapy continue out to two years after stroke
