Door-to-antibiotic time associated with one-year mortality among sepsis patients
Based on the retrospective study's findings, decreasing average door-to-antibiotic time to 1.5 hours could prevent one death for every 61 sepsis patients admitted through the ED, the authors calculated.

Bundle compliance increased, mortality decreased under New York sepsis regulations
Under “Rory's Regulations,” use of the three-hour bundle for severe sepsis and septic shock increased from 53.4% to 64.7%, while six-hour bundle compliance increased from 23.9% to 30.8%.
