Many cellulitis hospitalizations may be unnecessary, meta-analysis finds
The mortality rate for hospitalized patients with cellulitis in U.S. studies was 0.5%. Worldwide, it averaged 1.1%, ranging from 0% to 2.9% in the studies included in the meta-analysis.
