Intensity of renal replacement associated with mechanical ventilation duration
A post hoc analysis of a randomized trial found that critically ill patients with acute kidney injury were less likely to be successfully extubated and had fewer ventilator-free days if they received more intensive versus less intensive renal replacement therapy.

Intermittent multidrug IV therapy potentially useful in refractory Mycobacterium abscessus pulmonary disease
In a small study of 36 patients in South Korea, 62% and 12% of those with M. abscessus disease and 80% and 60% of those with M. massiliense disease had at least one negative culture and culture conversion, respectively.
