Continuing warfarin safer than bridging before catheter ablation
In patients undergoing catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation, continuing warfarin reduced the risk of periprocedural stroke and bleeding events, compared to bridging with low-molecular-weight heparin, a recent study found.
